REVIEWS OF Curry Capital

Matt (24 September 2007)

Curry Capital is undoubtedly the best Indian/Bangladeshi restaurant on Brick Lane.

It is situated off the main drag at the Bethnal Green end of the lane, in an area which has recently seen an explosion of trendy new bars. The menu is extensive, combining old favourites with some innovative chef specials. The lamb xacuti is especially good, with some delicate spicing, as is the mita chingri, being prawns in a lovely sweet sauce. All the dishes were well presented. The service of the two waiters was professional and efficient, always with a smile, something that helps to make this the best Indian restaurant in the area. The decor is modern and as the room is often full, has a great buzzy atmosphere. It has an excellent value for money and is highly recommended.
