Curry Fever Restaurant, The Description
Curry Fever is considered by enthusiasts of this spicy Indian speciality to be one of the best curry houses in Leicester. The focus is clearly on creating flavoursome vegetarian and non-vegetarian Punjabi cuisine. Step in to a buzzing and cosy interior filled with cloth covered tables and customers eager to sample dishes that have won the restaurant much acclaim and are popular all over Britain
Sip wine or beer and munch on poppadoms as you order starters of a mini mixed grill of chicken tikka, lamb chops and sheek kebab; prawn shashlik, or deep-fried cassava. House specialities embrace jeera or cumin chicken and a mild yet flavoursome butter chicken. The menu goes on to offer dishes such as karai, where meat is served with onions and capsicum in a think masala sauce in a cast iron wok, a fiery vindaloo, and milder rogan josh.
Vegetarians have a reason to rejoice as the menu includes Bombay aloo, paneer tikka masala and an exciting mixed tandoor sizzler. End the experience with soothing yoghurt lassi.

I visited the Curry Fever Restaurant after a Leicester Tigers game and the food was excellent and quickly served. The staff were attentive and polite. I would certainly go back again.
BK Leicester (10 September 2009)
I visited this restaurant last week. What a surprise! The service was friendly, food was very good, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian fare, must recommend chicken peri peri and vegetarian tandoori sizzler for starters. Lassi is salted to cool you down. Try a main course of karahi chicken, sag paneer and lamb curry. Naans were fresh and hot and freshly cooked rice makes for a welcome change. Good value for money - we will visit again with family.
