Curry Queen
106 Mill Road, Cambridge, CB1 2BD
Certainly amongst the leading contenders from the ethnic section of the culinary community in Cambridge, an area in which there is rather less competition than might be expected. The customarily extended menu of dishes ranging from the exotic to the plain simple is always on offer and whilst this may be par for the course in most curry houses it still leaves room for wide variations in the way in which food actually appears on the plate. This is without doubt where Curry Queen has an advantage. Portions are also generous and service slick. Lager, that staple liquid fare which has enjoyed a long and not always happy relationship with curry fever, can also vary, but the German lager on offer at Curry Queen is universally popular, except possibly with the odd Australian undergraduate.Certainly amongst the leading contenders from the ethnic section of the culinary community in Cambridge, an area in which there is rather less competition than might be expected. REVIEWS OF Curry Queen
Gautam Avvaru (24 February 2011)
Food is very tasty - one of the best in UK. I would be happy if the food is served quicker.

The Curry Queen is my favourite Indian restaurant in Cambridge! Not only are the curries delicious, it's also really cheap. I think you also get free poppadums as a starter with the best yoghurt and mint sauce in town!
