Curry Special Description
In the Newbury Park area there is one curry house that stands out head and shoulders above the rest. Curry Special offers a great atmosphere, always packed out at the weekend, and the ingredients are all really fresh making it worthy of a trek out to the area even if you're not a local. Dishes of particular note include the homemade chutneys and pickles followed by flavoursome, rather than overly spiced choices, such as jeera or chilli chicken.

I had been to this restaurant aiming to celebrate. My past few visits had been good with cordial service and tasty food. However this time was a big letdown… service was pathetic... It took our waiters 45 minutes to bring water glasses... food items were either too salty or not done well.. I would never recommend the salted lassi, lachha paratha and pakoras at that place... A big letdown and quite a shame as past visits to this place had been very good.

I had my 21st in here many years ago. We took up half the restaurant and everyone had excellent food and a brilliant night. I recommend the carrot pickle, you've never tasted it so good!
