We eat quite regularly at Da Claudios, despite having tried other restaurants in Scarborough. We always come back - the food is always fresh, tasty, beautifully prepared, cooked and presented, the menu varies and is interesting. The staff are always really friendly and accommodating. The portions are generous, but not overwhelming. We end up sharing a dessert, and it's worth it - try the homemade cheesecake or pannacotta! Claudio's is like Yorkshire's little corner of Italy. The new little panini outlet is a delight for lunchtime treats! It is highly recommended.
Love food (17 July 2009)
I recently ate there with a party and thoroughly enjoyed the experience; most had steaks which we had to admit were worth dying for, so to speak. The other notable part of the meal was the fish which I have to say was fresh and tasty. The highlight of the evening, sorry two highlights - one of our party had a cake, we had supplied, presented to him. It made his day; at 60 some are easily pleased. My opinion for what it's worth, 10/10, I'll certainly go back as often as possible.
