Da Vinci's Restaurant Description
Da Vinci's is a pleasant, intimate, family run restaurant offering traditional and modern Italian cuisine in the heart of the Ironbridge Gorge. With just thirty covers they aim to offer personal and attentive service in a relaxed atmosphere.
Owner/chef Nadia uses the highest quality fresh produce sourced locally and speciality Italian importers for authentic hams, cheeses, olives, oils and dried goods. Her husband David is on hand to share his impressive knowledge of Italian food and wine. The extensive menu offers a range of regional dishes with the emphasis on fresh fish and seafood and other seasonal ingredients and changes almost daily.
Homemade desserts, artisanal and cooperative produced cheeses and a range of organic honeys are on offer to finish your meal. Special dietary requirements can be catered for as all dishes are prepared to order. They boast approximately fifty still and sparkling wines on their exclusively Italian list and more than one hundred liqueurs and aperitivi, Da Vinci's offers the true taste of Italy in relaxed style.

I am from Holland and I have known Nadia since 1989, when I worked with her in Italy. She can prepare great meals, she only uses fresh ingredients, so the whole summer we worked together, I ate delicious food!

Wow was the verdict from the group of friends who joined me in celebrating my 40th birthday at Da Vinci’s last month. Having previously dined here for a romantic dinner, I knew it would be a special place to bring close friends. On my wish list to dine out for my special celebration were fine wine and food, a relaxed and informal atmosphere, attention to detail and excellent value for money - Da Vinci’s ticked all the boxes.
It was a pleasure to dine in a restaurant where you can enjoy the delights of authentic Italian cuisine, and where you are not rushed between courses. The most difficult part being what to choose without feeling you’re missing out on not ordering everything on the menu! Attentive front of house and waiting staff make this a dining experience well worth a little wait, after all isn’t the ethos of Italian dining to savour the moment? Highly recommend a visit to anyone looking for either an intimate dinner or a friends and family gathering. My only concern - there should be a warning on the menu, explaining that diners are likely to become addicted to the place.
