The delightful south Lake District town of Kendal is known worldwide for its famous Mint Cake, a traditional delicacy unique to this glorious part of the world, which itself attracts millions of visitors to wonder at the grandeur of the Lake District and the surrounding areas. The exterior of the building is very traditional, almost Shakespearean in appearance, and the welcoming outside is more than matched by the comfortable, friendly atmosphere inside the restaurant, where Romanian Danny and his staff will guide you through the extremely varied menu suggesting which of the fine wines and beers might best complement your choice of meal. Special attractions include pre-show meals for those attending performances at the tiny Brewery Theatre nearby and on Friday evenings, visitors to Danny's Restaurant and Cafe Bar will find the atmosphere enhanced even further with the addition of a guest guitarist.
