Dans le Noir ?

Nothing can prepare you for the uniqueness of "Dans Le Noir?" It works like this; you meet in the entrance bar, put your phones and anything else that might emit light in a locker, then order from a short choice of fine French/international dishes or go for the "surprise" menu where you don't know what you'll get. Then you're led through three sets of black drapes and to your table. You can't see a thing, leaving you to rely wholly on the remaining four senses, and the blind waiter or waitress assigned to you. You've never tasted food like this before, that's for sure. And because you can't see who's next to you, everyday judgments and fears are removed and chatting to your neighbours becomes irresistible.
