This is one of the most popular wine taverns in Cologne which offers a spectacular view of the old fish-market square and the Rhine. The main reason for coming here is the wine, although the cuisine is also noteworthy. Thes Rheinsicher sauerbraten with almonds, raisins and potato dumplings is a house specialty. The building where it is situated was built in the twelfth century and belonged to a monastery of the Benedict abbey.International
