Delrio's Restaurant Description
Delrio's, although described as presenting cuisine from the Mediterranean is Sardinia-specific and, as such, a pretty good gem to have in your city. As though realizing this there appears to be a conspiracy to ensure that you don't find the premises which are, to say the least, obscure. However, these are but tests to discover your mettle and your prize on passing the various tests, is to uncover a wonderful range of dishes, many of them seafood, being served up in this unobtrusive cellar restaurant, which deserves the attention of every gourmet who comes anywhere near it.

It has a great atmosphere, and I had the best night. The staff are very efficient and friendly. The food was delicious and very reasonable. It’s the best pizza I have ever eaten. A hidden gem, for anyone visiting York and it’s a must.

We tried this restaurant four years ago when our daughter first came to York to study. It was delightful then and can still now boast the same quality of food and superbly authentic surroundings. I would recommend Delrio's to anyone visiting the beautiful city of York as one of the best Italian restaurants we have ever visited.
