Denise's restaurant located in Southampton Row is one of the oldest French restaurants in London renowned for its excellent cuisine and has been featured in both domestic and international newspapers and television shows. The décor is cosy and the ambience relaxed. The starched napkins and table linen are reminiscent of the quaint Parisian restaurants on the left bank.

With a wide range of meat, fish, poultry and vegetable or pasta dishes, and the kind of preparation - grilled, Provençal, Rossini or the house specialties - the diner is spoilt for choice. Highly recommended are their escargots, delicately cooked in garlic butter and herbs and frogs' legs or sautéed in butter with garlic, tomatoes, white wine and parsley. Do try the chef's duck liver pâté or your choice of soups. You could choose from chocolate mousse, parfaits, sorbets, crêpes, fresh strawberries or an assortment of cheese for dessert, taking an excellent meal to a fitting climax.
