Denise's Restaurant
79 Southampton Row, Holborn, London, WC1B 4ET
Denise's restaurant located in Southampton Row is one of the oldest French restaurants in London renowned for its excellent cuisine and has been featured in both domestic and international newspapers and television shows. The décor is cosy and the ambience relaxed. The starched napkins and table linen are reminiscent of the quaint Parisian restaurants on the left bank. With a wide range of meat, fish, poultry and vegetable or pasta dishes, and the kind of preparation - grilled, Provençal, Rossini or the house specialties - the diner is spoilt for choice. Highly recommended are their escargots, delicately cooked in garlic butter and herbs and frogs' legs or sautéed in butter with garlic, tomatoes, white wine and parsley.Denise's restaurant located in Southampton Row is one of the oldest French restaurants in London renowned for its excellent cuisine and has been featured in both domestic and international newspapers and television shows. REVIEWS OF Denise's Restaurant
Colin Taylor (8 June 2011)
Four of us had two meals at Denise’s Restaurant and both were excellent. The food was wonderful and the staff very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and Madame Denise is so welcoming and personal. Very highly recommended. Worth travelling to if you want a good meal in a very pleasant atmosphere. A+
