Devonshire Terrace

Devonshire Terrace is quite rightly the pride of Devonshire Square, an elegant and serene dining space set amidst the bustling city of London, not too far from Liverpool Street Station. The décor is kept minimal and functional but with plenty of interesting highlights in colour and furnishing. This large and airy restaurant boasts a heated terrace which can be utilised throughout the year and plenty of private dining rooms with their own balcony.

The European menu could most likely begin with starters of crispy duck salad with watercress, coriander, chilli and sesame seeds and move on to a main course of 28 day aged rib of beef with Béarnaise sauce. Those in the mood for grazing will love the tapas featuring such delights as coconut, lime and chilli prawns or Welsh rarebit with tomato chutney. Round off the meal with chocolate fondant and honeycomb ice cream or maybe something from the excellent cheese board. New World choices seem to rule the wine list although the requisite nod to tradition will please some.
