Ragout of wood pigeon breast, pancetta, and root vegetables served with sea salt and thyme puff pastry fleurons, and pan seared scallops with roasted cauliflowers can provide for a great start. As they are so close to sea, you might not be surprised to find marvellous local examples there, such as pan seared fillet of turbot served on smoked haddock and south hams potato fish fingers with peas braised with pancetta and shallots or pan seared monkfish tails served with overnight heritage tomatoes, fennel and potato puree and crispy prosciutto.

Dick and Wills is the hub of Salcombe, being the only place in the town where you can eat amazing food whilst on the water's edge. Great service from the abundance of waitresses, see you at summer 2010!
