Diner Soho, The Description
One of the best cheapest-eats in London, in the heart of Soho, offering really good burgers with bacon, cheese and fresh leaves, crunchy chips, and coleslaw to die for.
But if you are really aiming to live dangerously go for the Mexican breakfast, a well loaded platter of scrambled eggs, guacamole, refried beans, salsa and chorizo lardoons. Ain't no tomorrer, man.
The atmosphere is distinctly funky, with American diner overtones, a great deal of jollity and come and go. There is a bar with stunning cocktails on the list, spirits and wine. I just wish we had more places like these - neighbourhood cafes they may not be, but a whole lot of fun they most certainly are.
