Unusual, but very welcoming, The Dining Room on Edinburgh's Queen Street, in the heart of that great city, offers personable and unfussy service. As you might expect from the fact that it is owned and run by the Scotch Malt Whisky Society, their modern Scottish menus include many Scottish ingredients such as seafood, plus the best beef and lamb, and carefully sourced seasonal produce. You don't have to be a whisky lover to enjoy the food and ambience in The Dining Room - but if you do then it should prove to be a truly memorable experience.
