Myself and four friends went to Dish on a Monday night and was very pleasantly surprised. There was a deal on Monday which was three courses for £15.50. The restaurant itself is very modern, quite small downstairs but we weren't cramped. I would only say that our table was right in front of the kitchen which you can see right into, so we could hear the chefs calling the tickets and banging and clashing. It was fairly busy, most likely due to the menu which had four choices of starters, mains and desserts. The waitresses were polite enough - although we were waiting a longer than average time for our orders to be taken. I chose a twice baked goats cheese for my starter which was light and very tasty. Then I had the duck for my main course which came with noodles and vegetables, again, really lovely! My friends all had the lamb and said it was amazing and cooked as they asked. Then I had the sticky toffee pudding which was just beautiful. Portion size was perfect, so we weren't over stuffed even though we had all cleared our plates! We all agreed that dinner was very nice and I would both recommend Dish and go back there.
