Dockmaster's House, The Description
The new and elegant Dockmaster's House is located in a listed three-storey Georgian building in Hertsmere Road. It promises to give customers an exciting dining experience in its stylish dining rooms, bars and garden, and adds to the vitality and charm of London's financial district.
Like the building that has been given a modern day makeover, Dockmaster's dishes are all Indian classics that are given a contemporary twist in tune with western tastes and expectations.
Rooms such as The Strover are an attractive space for product launches, meetings, and private entertainment; the open air Cube overlooks the main restaurant and can be used to hold lunch and dinner parties. The bar and first floor lounge offer customers innovative cocktails, spirits and a tempting array of snacks.

They don’t serve your usual Indian fare, but the dishes are very flavoursome. The décor and atmosphere is fantastic except the chairs, which didn't get the same 5 star treatment like the rest of the restaurant. The waiters are very attentive and worth the service charge. A bit on the pricey side but the experience is worth that bit extra.

What a fantastic refurbishment job on this building. I could not wish to eat in better surroundings – that’s until the food turned up. Disgusting, tasteless, expensive all topped with rude waiting staff. Don’t waste your money like I did.
