Dog and Badger Description

English pubs somehow seem to follow a similar naming convention, and this one on Henley Road is no different but some quirky details of its past seem to set it apart. Dog and Badger started life in 1370s and legend has it that Medmenham Parish Clerk used to announce the banns of marriage here! Fast forward to the present times and it's not surprising to see locals making use of little comforts like the wi-fi for online profiling while the rest enjoy live music in the evening.

Others could be spotted savouring a bowl of carrot and coriander soup, or garlic black tiger prawns. Whilst surveying main courses you might come across a 28 day matured Aberdeen rib eye steak, pork and apple sausages or herb-crusted rack of lamb, and desserts such as sticky toffee pudding and Eton mess don't stray too far from the traditional realm.
