Dojo

1-2 Millers Yard, Mill Lane, Cambridge, CB2 1RQ

Lest it be thought that here is a restaurant trying to cash in on all available options, the common theme is, in fact the humble noodle - look at it that way and things fall into place. For those to whom the noodle is anathema a concession is made in the form of rice. Around eight Far Eastern cuisines are blended into a fusion of Oriental/Pacific Rim flavours that seems to appeal to the many who flock to the Dojo on a regular basis. No starters are served, but there is a good range of side dishes to compliment the array of mains. It is in fact quite easy to graze your way through the smaller dishes on a tapas basis and come out smiling - inscrutably, of course. Assuming you decide otherwise, and most do, you might consider the chat kuay teow, a Malaysian dish of the wok consisting of pho with beef, chicken and vegetables including fresh chillies, red pepper, mange tout, red onion and Oriental greens.

REVIEWS OF Dojo

Helen (15 November 2009)

Huge portions, very tasty food and the service is okay, but the staff aren't particularly friendly.

Askari (14 February 2009)

The cooking is insultingly perfunctory at this pan-Asian restaurant. The Thai dishes like pad Thai are virtually without prawns and are especially slapdash. The noodles are flaccid and give the impression of not being made on the premises. Service is ill-mannered, especially late.
