Don Pietro Description

Don Pietro on Cranbrook Road is renowned for its warm, cosy atmosphere and friendly service. The menu displays a range of offerings you would expect to find in an Italian restaurant and the ambience creates a convivial setting in which to enjoy well proportioned servings of tasty preparations.

Among pizzas, the margherita with tomato, mozzarella and oregano, stands out for its classic nature. Risotto pollo e rosemary, slow cooked risotto rice with chicken, mushroom, onion, chicken stock and butter can entrap you with its taste.

Starters are represented by crostini Don Pietro, toasted ciabatta bread topped with pieces of smoked salmon and prawns in homemade Marie-Rose, and a heart-warming minestrone soup. For those who prefer meat and fish, there are fillet steaks from some of the finest British beef served with a choice of sauces such as Diana and pepe verde, and poached salmon fillet topped with a salsa of chopped rosemary, anchovy fillets, garlic and olive oil.

Don Pietro is a firm favourite with us and our family, we have been customers since they opened and they have always come out tops with us. The food is always superb and the members of staff are always very friendly and courteous. We have held two family parties there and could not fault their attention to detail and they made both days an occasion to remember. Christmas and New Year are also great times to spend with them, they make everyone feel as if you are spending time in your own home and New Years Eve is one big party. We would recommend Don Pietro, well, we have and they go back time and again, so well done Beverley Peter and staff, see you soon.

My husband and I visited Don Pietro's restaurant several times while we were living in Ilford and we are now back in Canada. I have realized that there aren't many restaurants that can compare with the food, atmosphere and fantastic and friendly service that is found at Don Pietro's. This restaurant is well missed by my husband and me. Keep up the great work.
