Donington Manor Bistro Description
An elegant house of great architectural charm, the décor has been brought up to standard to make the Donington Manor Bistro, for that is how it is presented, a welcoming and relaxing setting in which to stay, call in for a meal or enjoy a leisurely day being looked after by means of some skilfully applied R and R.
Foremost amongst the treats in store is the two or three course lunch, say salmon fish cake with salad and tartar sauce, medallions of pork with thyme gravy and apple sauce, rounded off by sticky toffee pudding with toffee sauce at incredibly good prices.
Dinner starting with smoked trout mousse and a crème fraîche and horseradish dressing could be followed by pan fried sirloin steak with Roquefort sauce and crispy bacon, and ginger and lime cheesecake with a fruit coulis, or iced banana parfait with chocolate Ganache to complete the pleasure.
The Manor is less than five minutes drive from Nottingham East Midlands Airport, the A50 and M1.
