Dos Amigos
68-70 Abbey Road, Leeds, LS5 3JG
An immensely popular and bustling tapas restaurant in Kirkstall, that's what Dos Amigos is all about. The minimalist décor helps to shift focus on to the real thing, the Spanish and Italian cuisine on offer and plenty of tapas. The classics take their prominent positions on the menu with no less than three types of paella and a bowl of olives could be followed by spicy patatas bravas, aubergine topped with tomato and cheese, fried calamari, chicken croquettes and the pan Catalan, a thick olive oil drenched bread rubbed with garlic and fresh tomato. For mains it could be a salt cured cod in white wine, roast mixed peppers with garlic olive oil and fennel seeds or choose from a range of pasta, risotto and meat dishes and a tiramisu to finish. An immensely popular and bustling tapas restaurant in Kirkstall, that's what Dos Amigos is all about. If the tempting tapas selections have not rendered you immobile then a walk to the Kirkstall Abbey nearby should be the perfect antidote for a little light post-prandial exercise.

REVIEWS OF Dos Amigos
Gaby barton (26 January 2009)
We stopped on a whim last night as we were passing and I am so glad that we did! Fresh tasty tapas dishes some better than the orginals in Spain. We were looked after by friendly and accommodating staff. Try the tuna and salmon from the specials board. My children both loved the ribs and the meatballs.

After reading mixed reviews before I visited Amigos for a friend’s party, I was more than pleasantly surprised. The food was fresh and tasty and the big choice worked amazingly well with a big group as we all got to try many dishes. My daughter was pleased to see many of her Italian favourites there as well, which was a relief as she can often be a fussy eater.
