The Double Eagle is an historic adobe home listed on the National Historic Register filled with turn-of-the-century art, sculpture, antiques, Baccarat crystal chandeliers and Lalique lighting fixtures. It also houses the only dedicated beef ageing room in the state. The venue is popular for it margaritas, wines and Sunday champagne brunch which typically features a room full of food.

Start with baked brie with roasted pecans and green apples served with crispy lavosh cracker bread and sourdough bread grilled with parmesan cheese, topped with smoked salmon, sprinkled with minced purple onion and capers, and garnished with sour cream. Move on to roasted pork tenderloin, rosemary-rubbed, splashed with Spanish sherry then oven roasted, and topped by a house recipe raspberry-jalapeno glaze. For dessert consider treats such as chocolate fountain and caramel apple meltaway pie.

The Peppers Café located inside offers New Mexican dishes including green chile-cheese stuffed crispy wontons with pineapple-jalapeno salsa and other unique dishes.
