Dove Inn Description

A delightfully cosy little pub, in the best sense, very much the centre of the community but at the same time serving a wider public, and a jolly good thing too. There is a good selection of snacks and light meals at lunchtimes with more choice in the evenings. Everything is very traditional and there is a pleasing veering towards fish. For those who like their Shepherd Neame, here it is, supported by a brief wine list, from £12.00 upwards.

A recent meal I had there with my wife was an extremely pleasurable experience in terms of service and food. This place, which is under a new management since October 2007, has considerably improved since our last visit. The new menu was innovative and our meals confirmed this. All in all, an excellent evening, which we hope will be repeated soon.
