This is just to say what a fantastic night we had at the restaurant. We went there for my daughters fortieth birthday, and there were seven of us. The service and food were excellent, and the band, the Leo Green experience was great and second to none. I would recommend The Dover Street Restaurant and Jazz Bar and give it a 100%. What an evening we had. We were looked after; our meals were on time and were excellent. Yes the drinks are a bit pricey, but then it’s a restaurant, and in London most places are pricey. The food was not expensive and it was good. I will go there again.

Seventeen of us went for a company evening out after meetings in town, so we turned up fairly early, about seven. The service was friendly and food acceptable, if not particularly exciting. We paid about £40 a head though, and this didn't even seem to include coffee. The cost of the drinks was ridiculous, about £30 for a bottle that wasn't worth more than a fiver. Anything decent would have cost us at least £50. Most disappointing was that we left at nearly 10.00pm, and there had been no music at all, so the premium we paid for the jazz was rather pointless. We thought they'd at least have a house band before that. Apparently there's dancing till three am, but who can do that on a Monday night?
