Dragonfly - Cheltenham

Dragonfly combines a restaurant with adventurous Thai cuisine and a glamorous and stylish bar, this area is spacious yet intimate, its cove seating and dramatic murals, black glass bar and zinc bar top, combined with brightly coloured banquettes and oriental fabrics make it a great setting for trying out one of their many oriental-themed cocktails made from sake, oriental spirits and fresh exotic fruit.

Upstairs, you'll find a completely separate and spacious Thai restaurant decorated with Oriental artefacts and rich fabrics.  Perfect for more formal dining, its screens create the intimacy of a smaller space and the striking focal point of a huge Buddha at the far end creates a dramatic effect.

Along with its evocative flavours of lemon grass, sweet basil, and coconut milk, Thai food is the result of a subtle blending of herbs and spices with the incorporation of the crispy freshness of stir-fried vegetables, curries, and rich sauces.

Dragonfly uses exotic ingredients flown in from Thailand such as Kaffir lime leaves, Thai basil and pandun leaves, and offers a range of dishes like steamed salmon in lime and ginger sauce; wok-fried chicken in lemongrass, chilli and garlic and lamb massaman with potato and peanuts.
