Drop

17 Waterloo Street, Glasgow, G2 6AY

Fresh and contemporary, Drop is located on Waterloo Street in Glasgow and has become the favourite haunt of hip youngsters or anyone looking for a good time with some eclectic music beats spun by DJs , coupled with unbelievably cheap, or rather, low priced, drinks and some tasty food. Lunch at this stylish city centre pub can be a quick but tantalising affair with chicken wings, battered haddock with fries and some interesting options of pastas, pizzas, burgers, salads and soups all priced very reasonably.   Come evening and you might begin a meal with creamy garlic mushrooms served on toasted ciabatta or a bruschetta topped with warm tomatoes and basil followed by a succulent Cajun chicken or homemade steak pie served with seasonal vegetables and mash.

Come evening and you might begin a meal with creamy garlic mushrooms served on toasted ciabatta or a bruschetta topped with warm tomatoes and basil followed by a succulent Cajun chicken or homemade steak pie served with seasonal vegetables and mash. The menu is not strictly British, so don't be surprised to find beef chow mein alongside homemade chilli served on a bed of rice with tortilla chips and sour cream. For dessert, sticky toffee pudding is a good choice and the range of cocktails, wines and drinks at Drop is superb.

Always a pleasurable visit. Definitely 'the place to be' in Glasgow. Good food, great music and friendly staff. It is great for casual lunch, dinner and great for a night out.
