It’s a cosy and accurately traditional pub. Menu is short and limited, food is good, arrives quickly and hot, and service is speedy, accurate, and very polite. Various televised sports like the World Cup, both European and American football, etc. can be seen on flat screen TVs above the bar all year. Dark wooden furniture and dark wood floor and wood bar makes for an overall dark pub, but the handful I'd haunted while visiting family in Ireland and England were precisely the same. Tables and chairs have always been clean. I’ve been to Dubliner with family and co-workers on at least a dozen occasions. A large crowd doesn't faze the staff; they are veterans of the food, drink and service industry. Beer is good - pretty wide variety for a small place. Live music weekly is a real pleasant surprise. Hope the place lasts in spite of the recession. Few times I've seen recently the locals seem to be sticking to the Dubliner. Says enough there. Cheers!
