Eastenders Restaurant

There are not too many places around Waterford City Centre offering Indian and European cuisine under the same roof; Eastenders is one such restaurant and is now back with a bang post-refurbishment. Dim lights and neutral shades are out and the dining area looks bright and gleaming with bold hues and stylish furnishings.

When it comes to food, you'd notice two night menus, on one visit you could go the Indian way with tender pieces of barbecued chicken or lamb, and deep-fried mushrooms marinated with herbs and bread crumbs, or a full blown European with chicken goujons, spaghetti Bolognese and sirloin steak. The carte is well divided and is particularly helpful for Indian cuisine novices; here kormas, tikka masalas and pasandas are for those with a delicate palate, but those who can handle the spice could try jalfrezis, Madras and the daring vindaloos.
