Eastern Fire Description

For delicious Sri Lankan and South Indian cuisine on Rayner's Lane, Eastern Fire with its comfy decor, friendly service and above all, superb food, is an excellent choice. This well established restaurant on Alexandra Avenue has served as the focal point for many Asians craving for home cooked fare in London and with plenty of choices for vegetarians and meat lovers along with faultless preparation of classics, proves them to be well into the game.

Amongst starters in the menu, there could be fish cutlets or lamb chops while the chilli pakora with its spicy overtones sets the ball rolling. Devilled dishes are a specialty with choice of meat, vegetable or seafood pan fried in spices and onions while curries such as kormas and bhuna add the unmistakable touch of the sub-continent. Biryani, pilau rice or noodles are perfect as standalone meals or with some of the fantastic gravies, although try not to miss the string hoppers, steamed Sri Lankan noodles. Eastern Fire is also renowned for a Malaysian element in the menus.
