Another great evening at Edwinns - this has been my favourite restaurant since I discovered it 10 years ago now. The menu had changed since my last visit, but not the quality of the food or service, both were first class. The freshly baked bread and the attentiveness of the welcoming waiting staff always make it extra special. Will definitely be returning soon, that's if I can get a seat. Fully booked on a Wednesday night, at least Edwinns is feeling the pinch too badly.

We went to Edwinns just before Christmas and wanted a table for 7.30. We were told that we could only have a table for 6.30. We took this booking and arrived shortly before 6.30, only to find a rather empty restaurant. From the moment we sat down the waiter who stood hovering while we looked at the menu rushed us. As soon as we had finished he whipped our plates away and seemed to have brought out our desserts at the same time. Our bill was put on our table without us asking for it and so we left just as quickly as we had eaten our dinner, to a still very empty restaurant. We did not feel welcome and we will not be going back, and the food was not as good as the time before. We were very disappointed.
