This second outlet of Efes has been pleasing its customers, including many from the Turkish community, for some time now. Unusually it even manages to creep into the Good Food Guide in its Round Up section; this is rather surprising as its speciality is kebabs, not normally regarded as fine food, however, everything is prepared in-house, and their kebabs, accompanied by quite a fiery chilli sauce, are highly rated, as is their meze. They also have excellent char grilled meat dishes, accompanied by rice and salad, as well as delicious hummus and taramasalata; all served by a cheerful waiting team. Their original restaurant is still in nearby Great Titchfield Street .
