El Caserio - Silverlake Description

El Caserio brings a stylish and opulent atmosphere to your afternoon or evening indulgence, where you can enjoy a cuisine that is distinct in its taste and appeal. There are influences from Ecuador alongside pasta and seafood specialities and an interesting French twist also, so you can expect to be surprised each and every time. Locals are comfortable there because of the friendly and down to earth attitude of the staff and although most claim that the location is obscure enough to make this a hole in the wall restaurant, it's a gem worth discovering.

The journey begins with South American tastes such as ceviche with large shrimps, fresh tomatoes, red onions and cilantro marinated in lime juice before moving on to an entree. Other options include fresh salmon fillet in a light baby dill sauce or maybe pappardelle pasta with meatballs. A lunch menu brings skirt steaks sautéed with onions, served with fries amongst numerous other tantalizing choices.
