I visited Eliano's last night for the first time, despite living in Middlesbrough area for twenty years. It may to me have been a hidden gem but after last night's visit not any more. The atmosphere, personal service and overall ambience is great, the kind of place you feel welcome at right away. The food was genuine Italian and home cooked. Our meal consisted of mussels, fantastic homemade pasta, stuffed chicken wrapped in Parma ham and desserts again homemade and delicious. Wine, a Merlot was fantastic. We have found, sorry it took so long, a fantastic place right in the heart of Middlesbrough. Tell your friends but please not too many, we will be visiting again very soon.

My boyfriend found this restaurant on an internet search and took me for my birthday back in December. I've lived in Middlesbrough for 20 years and didn't know it existed! The food was outstanding, Italian is my favorite and now that I know of this place I will be eating there more often. Lovely atmosphere, I've been to Rome and I felt like I was back there, it had a true Italian style and feel to the place.
