Enterprise, The

The Enterprise is a modern British restaurant and bar in Walton Street, a five-minute walk from both the Kings Road and Fulham Road. The restaurant attracts a very fashionable client base and is known to be one of the favoured places in town for ladies who lunch.

You could visit the bar for a quick drink, or head straight to the restaurant to savour the delicious and simply prepared food.

Among eight or so starters, expect to find seared scallops with Clonakilty black pudding or duck rillette with port wine jelly and cipolline onions. For the mains, look out for slow-braised Buccleuch beef, roast parsnips, braised leek and parmesan pudding, and whole roast sea bass, confit of fennel with anchovy butter.

The desserts are worth more than a passing glance; sunken chocolate soufflé cake, and apple crumble, cinnamon and honey ice cream are but a few. The wine list is not vast but embraces choices from around the world. There are champagnes for those wanting to indulge in the best and make the experience even more memorable.
