In the small town of Epworth you don't expect to find such a quality restaurant as the Epworth Tap. We visit for lunch and drinks regularly, and had a meal a couple of weeks ago on an evening. It was superb food and Steve creates a friendly atmosphere. We will be long time customers of this great place.

This is simply the best restaurant for miles around. Great food, no awesome food, great service and good wine. Steve and Sarah are great hosts, and Stewart the Head Chef is very talented for one so young. The prices are not inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. The fillet steak for £27, which I had the other night with a bearnaise sauce was the best I have ever had. It was fantastic, and well worth the expense. Julie had the duck and it was superb.
