My wife, children and I visited this restaurant last weekend during the great weather we were having and have to say the food was fantastic and it had great choices too. The staff were very friendly and accommodating as one of our children is under one and we had no problems at all. Prices were very reasonable and the place seemed extremely well run. We're looking forward to going back.

We passed this quaint pub and restaurant on our way up to Aberdeenshire and can honestly say it was one of the best pub meals we have ever had if not the best. As people who often go out for a pub lunch on the weekend, my husband and I were really impressed by the service and quality of the food. It was obviously all fresh and the presentation was very good. The two courses special was great value for money, but the larger menu also looked pretty good. They have their dinner menu on a blackboard and it all looked absolutely delicious. We are hoping to go back for an evening meal on the way home. It's nice to see that people are still making an effort in this industry, which has been taken over by franchises and people who can't be bothered to put effort into their food. Loved it!
