This restaurant is second to none. I just wish we lived closer and then we would be able to have all our family celebrations there, knowing that you can guarantee a great eating experience. Chris and Gail have certainly put Alcester on the gastronomic map.

How lucky we are to have Essence so nearby - it is without doubt our favourite eatery. It is always our first choice for celebrations and any other excuse we can find! It is always welcoming, always delicious and contrary to popular belief - no more expensive that any of our local gastro pubs. The only difference I would say is that at Essence you can always depend on it being great!
