In the capital Copenhagen, an exceptional garden restaurant, the Ravelinen, can be found. It is located outside the ramparts on outer Christianshavn by the small gardens close the Castle of Frederiksberg. It was built in 1728 and was from the very beginning used as a tollhouse where guards checked passer-bys to see whether they had paid toll at the crossing between rural and urbane areas. The interior is cosy and the view of the moat magnificent.

In the beautiful old building from 1640, called the Rhodeske gård, Frank and Annilil have created Christian 4 Tal. Here Danish traditional gastronomic splendours of the seasons' best organic produce are served (even the schnapps is organic). There, it is possible to relax by the fireplace or access Internet through wifi while the food is prepared.
