Tzatziki Grekisk Restaurang (Uppsala)
This is a fantastic restaurant with a beautiful atmosphere - good service, nice food and good prices.
Chez la mere Catherine (Paris)
I visited for lunch in February 2009 and it’s not recommended. The food is plain and cooked in advance, but price is that for something of higher standard. Place du Tertre and Montmartre are generally a tourist trap. The way to enjoy them is to consume no more than a drink, coffee or a small snack at one of the cafés. Schedule your visit with an already full stomach.
Mark Brandenburg (Berlin)
Modern German cuisine - interesting with lots of local suppliers featured on the menu. For example ostrich liver - from a farm in the region, or also local buffalo etc. The kitchen team is also trained to deal with food allergies - dishes are prepared tailor made on request.
Le Petit Bordelais (Paris)
As a demanding international diner, I found this restaurant to be a perfect balance between food, ambiance, service and value for money. Had it not been closed on Sunday and Monday I would have gone back at least twice - maybe even twice a day.
Himalayan (Haag)
This is the best Indian restaurant in town. The food and service were excellent. The feeling is like eating in India itself and the food is very homely.
Restaurant Kardinaalshof (Bruges / Brugge)
This restaurant is superb. The members of staff are lovely and really helped my husband and myself to feel at home. The food is innovative and good value and the prices are very reasonable for fine dining. It’s well worth seeking out.
Pravda Restaurant (Puerto Banus)
This is the best restaurant in Puerto Banus. I'm waiting for summer to eat the lobster pasta.
Sa Punta (Majorca)
Sa Punta is a truly wonderful restaurant. The ambience and food are both spectacular. The members of staff are fabulous and so friendly and welcoming. We dined there on our anniversary and I can honestly say it was the best food we had tasted in Majorca. It is our 30th wedding anniversary this year and it is so special, we have talked about renewing our vows there. We are definitely returning this year - it is so magical.
Green Chilli - Dublin (Dublin Area)
We went to The Green Chilli on St. Valentine's Day and we were extremely pleased with service and menu. The waiters were very courteous and made us feel relaxed. The food was a bit spicy, but absolutely delicious. I ordered some beef-lamb with mushrooms and capsicums and it was the best beef I've ever had. We also ordered a bottle of red wine, but it turned out that they didn't have this particular one we had ordered, but a waiter brought three different bottles and despite the fact that they were more expensive, he ensured us there wouldn't be extra charge for this. They also serve a kind of snack called poppadums before the main course, with some mint sauce and red onion dip and I must say it is fantastic. Oh, and I would forget, their bread naan was absolutely the best. I love it. To sum up, very friendly and romantic atmosphere, excellent service and very reasonable prices! We were surprised seeing the bill. We expected more to pay than we really had to. Absolutely recommended!
Pata Negra (Berlin)
Pata Negra is quite simply superb. I took a friend there who has eaten in the finest restaurants internationally, he currently lives in Paris and has frequented Michelin starred restaurants often - he's actually friends with some of the chefs, and he was blown away by the food at Pata Negra. It's always a delight to stumble across a little gem like this.
