Malzmühle (Cologne)
We ate dinner at the Malzmühle no less than five times in six days visiting Cologne. That is how wonderful the fare and the Kolsch beer is. After entering through a wooden revolving door, you will find a large crowd of mostly locals in one of several rooms. All are drinking Muhlin Kolsch out of .2 litre glasses, the finest Kolsch in Cologne. Unless you cover your glass with something, they will refill it almost instantaneously. The food is very competent, traditional German, and comes quickly after ordering. They have menus in English upon request. The waiters are swift, friendly and speak English. Sit down at a larger table and be joined by others. This place is as friendly as they come. Reservations are required in the evening. Well worth the visit.

Haiku Sushi (Copenhagen / København)
Some of the finest sushi we've eaten in a while - their rolls were amazing! The raw materials appear very fresh, and even as we dropped in on a Saturday night they served us very quickly and with high quality food. They even offer a 20% discount on take away. So if you're visiting Copenhagen and want a late evening snack on your hotel, they're right on your path - 100 meters off Strøget!

Le Grand Mericourt (Paris)
We went to this restaurant on Saturday night, and, even though we booked rather late, we could not have been more warmly received. We chose the tasting menu, and each course was beyond superb. I have had many wonderful meals in France, but this one will linger in our thoughts for a long time. Please give it a try - I could not recommend it more highly.

La Estancia (Arona)
I like to try new restaurants and to take pictures of the plate they're doing. I've been really surprised by this one and its creative chef! He used to make new plates every time he could! So wonderful to have a picture and so nice to eat! Go there!

La Era (Lanzarote)
What a fantastic place! Probably one of the best eating experiences I have had! Food, local wine and settings are great. We always make a point of dining here whenever we are in Lanzarote. You really need to book in advance to be sure of a table.

La Estancia (Arona)
I'm used to travel around the world to eat! I like it and I like to cook. So I and my girlfriend, we tried La Estancia. We were really been surprised by the quality of food. The Chef came to our table to have a little and charming chat. The staff is very friendly, after the first appearance due to the restaurant. Nice atmosphere and overall, nice variety and quality of food! The wine list is unique! I have never seen such an explicit one! If you don't know about wines, no worries, they tell all that you need to know. Incredible! I hope we go again in Tenerife to try new dishes of this Chef Mark!
