The building of Ca'n Costa dates back to the 19th century when it was a large dwelling place for farmhands working land from the surrounding areas. The main part of the restaurant was then a walled garden typical of old Mallorcan houses, where horses and carts were kept. Since then, Ca'n Costa has played many roles in the community. It was the first cinema in Pollensa, and the two projectors exhibited in the restaurant are originals from the 1940s.

Ca'n Costa first opened as a restaurant more than thirty years ago and has evolved through many styles and cuisines over the years. The current owner and Chef, William Kaberry is as passionate about the quality and style of the food he presents, as he is about the charm, beauty and ambience of the house.
