In 1965 the Bauzá family inaugurated Port Blau, the first restaurant on the front line walkway of the port in Colonia Sant Jordi. As was then the case, Port Blau continues to serve the most delicious dishes prepared with fresh local fish. The restaurant is now run by Toni, second generation of the family, and his team. The dining room offers a relaxing maritime atmosphere, but if you prefer to sit outside there is a big terrace on the harbour promenade which is right on the beach. If you are near this south-eastern part of the island, Port Blau is the place to go if you are in the mood for locally caught fresh fish and seafood, or to enjoy a traditional Spanish paella.

In the pretty, old town of Alcúdia, you will find a historical building, which is the home of Ca'n Costa restaurant. Built in the traditional style of Mallorcan architecture in the middle ages, Ca'n Costa features high ceilings and arches. This family run restaurant opened in January 1983 and since then, has been serving traditional recipes from Mallorca to the highest standards, using fresh local and seasonal ingredients, in an authentic setting. The poolside El Gazebo restaurant located in Gran Hotel Son Net is open during the summer months (June to October) for lunches, and offers a more relaxed and informal setting from the main restaurant, L'Orangerie. Meals are served on an enchanting terrace with spectacular views of the valley of Puigpunyent, and a menu that boasts a selection of meats, fresh fish and seafood, is served with fine wines to satisfy the hungriest of palates.

Recently opened and already gaining popularity amongst residents, Tva Broder (meaning 'two brothers') is a modern eating establishment with a warm and welcoming interior. As owners of a restaurant in Sweden, Staffan and Eva have much experience in the business. Their love of Mallorca led them to dream of opening up a place on the island and it became a reality last year. The idea behind Tva Broder is that it should be an innovative restaurant where you will feel at home in a relaxed setting with food that takes the seasons into account. As such, the cuisine here incorporates local produce while adding a strong Swedish touch and items you will always find on the menu include the tasty Swedish meatballs. La Gran Tortuga, or the great turtle in Spanish, has been a classic and fashionable venue for the last thirty years. They offer a high level of service, prompted by delectable cuisine and exquisite views from the tables. Agustín Duran and Antonio Soriano have managed the place with great care and dedication. Antonio continues to prepare classic dishes such as caldereta de langosta or lobster casserole, and fresh fish oven-baked in salt.
