Located 30 km from Valencia on the Valencia-Albacete motorway and famous for its giant paellas that travel the globe, Galbis is listed in the Guinness Book of Records for its October 2001 'paella valenciana'. The family started their restaurant in the beginning of the 20th century, in the town of Alcoy. It was their grandma Eulalia Doménech, who reached the banks of the Júcar after the Spanish Conflict in order to open the Casa Galbis de Gavarda, a place often visited by truck drivers and travellers.

In 1963 Antonio Galbis, the son of Eulalia decided move to Alcúdia. There, together with his sons, he has made Restaurante Galbis among the finest in the area.

Conveniently located in Valencia's quickly expanding business hub, is Kaymus - the Spanish restaurant run by the veteran chef Nacho Romero. With rich experience in the culinary arena spanning ten years in some of the premier restaurants in Switzerland, Madrid, Catalonia, Valencia and Andalusia, Romero's talent for rice dishes and grilled meats among other exquisite preparations is hard to equal. The creativity demonstrated in the food preparations is evidence of the chef's years of experience and sheer love for cooking. The duck lasagne, pastel de centollo and suprema de ave rellena de boletus y fois are among the highly recommended delicacies.

Owing to its location and great food, the restaurant enjoys the patronage of a predominantly corporate clientele. And the special lounge with its wireless internet connectivity and plasma screen makes it all the more conducive for business luncheons and presentations.
