Falcon Restaurant, The Description

Located in the centre of Carmarthen, the Falcon Hotel should not be judged by its outward face. Pop inside and a whole different world shows up, not least the well-appointed two AA/RAC stars restaurant. The menu takes a trip through the more traditional elements of British cooking and could start with smoked haddock and crab tart with sweet tomato coulis, followed by rack of Welsh lamb with a port and balsamic jus. The brioche and butter pudding with brandy and ginger ice cream, chosen from a pretty mouthwatering list could only be exceeded for some by the Welsh cheeses that are frequently available.
