Falcon, The Description
Mary, Queen of Scots suffered the indignity of execution a stone's throw from this part of the Huntsbridge Inns empire. The formula is much the same as in their other houses - you eat what you like, when you like (within reason), where you like. You may find yourself drinking well-kept ales or from a wide selection of fine wines, alongside some of the local colour, The Falcon being their home base.
The food is attractive with a range of dishes that spans the globe and tickles the fancy. There is a range of house wines between £12 and £20. In the higher echelons the interest is intense and the prices most reasonable. Much to be said for having a Master of Wine as the boss.

We were seven of us who went there on a Sunday and were looked after well by the staff. The food was absolutely fabulous with generous portions and cooked to perfection. I would recommend this restaurant.

The Falcon is superb! Delicious, appetising food, with a good wine list (Try The Beak!) Staff are always very attentive, service is perfect and the conservatory is great to sit in night or day, it overlooks the church which looks fabulous at night. Does tend to attract a slightly older clientele at times, which can make the atmosphere a little 'stiff' and not as relaxed. Non-smoking restaurant, and you can eat in the bar too. Need to book in advance.
