On the recommendation of a colleague in Cardiff, my fiancé and I thoroughly enjoyed the most wonderful meal in Farthings last Saturday evening. Although the restaurant was very busy, we found the staff to be welcoming and attentive, without being intrusive. Our meal was utterly delicious, definitely on par with our favourite London restaurants, but a good deal cheaper. We enjoyed ourselves so much that we went back to Farthings on Sunday morning for the heartiest of English (or, Welsh) breakfasts. All in all, we found Farthings to be an absolute gem of a discovery and have been recommending the restaurant to our friends and colleagues in London like crazy. If you're visiting South Wales, a visit to Farthings is essential, you will not be disappointed.
