REVIEWS OF Fiesta Havana
Ferrylad (4 April 2010)
We dined at Fiesta Havana, Chester on a Saturday of April 2010 and we're so glad we did. We were greeted politely and with a smile from the hostess. Even though we were about twenty minutes early for our booking at Eight PM, our table was ready and we were shown through to the restaurant. While choosing from the menu we enjoyed some freshly baked bread with some olive oil and balsamic vinegar, along with a glass of wine. For our starter we enjoyed a selection of three tapas dishes - chorizo, meatballs, and chicken with melted brie. My partner had a sirloin steak with blue cheese sauce, which was perfectly cooked and melted in the mouth, and was served with proper real chips, not those silly thin French fries. I chose chicken fajitas for my main course, which could have fed two! The fajitas consisted of five pancakes; a sizzling dish filled to overflowing with chicken, onions, and peppers; and a side dish filled with guacamole, salsa, soured cream, and grated cheese. The food was well presented, the quality was excellent, and was value for money. Service was efficient, unobtrusive, and friendly. Even though the bar and restaurant were busy we were never made to feel rushed. We had arrived just before the end of the happy hour, so we were able to enjoy £5.00 off a bottle of the house wine! We had an excellent experience and would definitely use this restaurant again the next time we visit Chester.
