REVIEWS OF Filini Restaurant
Pete Brisley (27 September 2011)
Visited Felini,Bristol for the first time Thursday 22/9/11 and the food and service were first class. Our waitress Camile was lovely and my wife enjoyed her meal very much- from the fish cake starter through the lamb rump. I said at the time ,the fillet beef medallions were the best I've ever tasted...anywhere. Well done chef. Only slight criticism- the Tiramasu needs a stronger flavour. But overall, a lovely experience

Wondered when we first arrived whether we had made a mistake in booking a table at this restaurant, however the staff were attentive without being over the top and the food was perfect from the palma ham and tomato brochettas to the fillet steak medallions with a gogonzola topping every mouthful was a delight. Few restaurants nowadays seem to cope with a variety of steak cooking but Felini's chef produced each just as requested. The homemade chocolate brownie with a small ball of posh vanilla ice cream was light and finished off the meal with just the right amount of choc/sugar. Just a mention about the coffee, having a decafe can mean a below average beverage but again I was surprised at how good it was. A delightful evening and one enjoyed by all.
