First Floor Restaurant, The Description

The First Floor is a new Cowley Road buffet restaurant that brings together Indian, Chinese, Thai and continental halal cuisine in the form of an appealing Pan-Asian fusion. So rest assured you will find something to delight even those that are the hardest to please!

The ambiance is modern and open plan and the dishes are all available for a set price. The service is warm and attentive, and the staff always attend to you with a smile.

A variety of starters, salads, main courses, and homemade desserts are created by an experienced team of chefs. Simply take a plate and choose from the huge selection of dishes on display. Expect to find stir-fried vegetables, spicy wings, deep-fried tempura, curries, rice, noodles, and pizza and pasta.

Coffee is served all day and the drinks list is packed with an impressive selection of wines, classic and non-alcoholic cocktails, spirits, beer, and cider.

Excellent food and service! My wife and I went to The First Floor and loved the experience so much that I organised my parents wedding anniversary party there. My mum is very fussy over food and I didn't really think she was going to enjoy the food but to my surprise she loved it and really enjoyed the chai latte which she had after the meal. Overall a wonderful experience and would recommend The First Floor to all my friends and family, we are now regulars and are hoping to hold a few more parties there in the months to come.

I have eaten in several Oxford restaurants and I must congratulate the owner and team of the First Floor as my wife and I felt the whole experience was outstanding. The food was delicious; you would expect this quality of food to be delivered on a plate to your table in some posh establishment in London, with a price to match. Very good food, tentative staff, friendly atmosphere, and best of all, fantastic value for money. I have since been to the restaurant six times this year and will be returning.
